App Administrator Role
Hope City Church is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-minded App Administrator to oversee the day-to-day management of the Generation Now (Gen Now) section of the church app. This role is ideal for someone who is both technically capable and ministry-focused, helping ensure the Gen Now app section is accurate, engaging, and effectively supports discipleship, communication, and engagement among our children and youth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update Gen Now app content, including the event calendar, curriculum, and ministry resources.
Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with Hope City Church’s voice and vision.
Schedule and publish updates in coordination with the Gen Now department calendar.
Help evaluate which features or content best support Gen Now department goals.
Support the app's future expansion as ministry needs grow.
Track analytics (downloads, engagement, usage trends) and provide insights to leadership.
Monitor app performance and usability, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and clarity.
Assist with push notifications, in-app messaging, and feature rollouts to encourage participation.
Qualifications
Required
Must be a member of Hope City Church.
Must have completed Discipleship 103.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working with digital tools, apps, and content management systems.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Alignment with the mission, values, and culture of Hope City Church.
Preferred
Experience managing a mobile app, website CMS, or digital platform.
Background in communications, marketing, ministry operations, or technology.
Familiarity with church management systems or ministry tech tools.
Basic understanding of analytics or digital engagement metrics.
